Michael joined Cheeverstown in October 2021 as Principal Psychologist and Clinical Services Manager. Michael holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Leeds and a Masters in Psychological Science from University College Dublin (UCD). He is a chartered member of the Psychological Society of Ireland. Prior to joining Cheeverstown, Michael worked for the NHS, HSE and voluntary sector working with people with intellectual and neurodevelopmental disabilities. Michael has completed additional training in a range of therapeutic approaches. He lectures on doctoral courses in psychology and is engaged in ongoing research in the field of intellectual disability.
