Sharon Murphy is a volunteer member of the Board of Management. She is a mother to three daughters and the primary carer to her youngest Elaine, a service user of the Cheeverstown group.Sharon's adult life has been dedicated to being an advocate for Elaine's quality of life and access to vital services.
Alongside this Sharon has worked within the community organisation, An Cosán, as a facilitator. With a passion for childcare she encouraged others to invest in their education and future to achieve a better outcome for themselves and their family. Throughout this time she also developed her own skills through various qualifications. She has continued down the childcare pathway and now happily minds her grandson.
Sharon's interests include music, walking, reading and travel where possible.
