TJ Duggan is Chief Executive Officer for Cheeverstown. Prior to taking on this exciting leadership position he was Director of Operations & Service development. In this role he led the leadership team to implement a structure that would ensure smooth transitions into the community and build strong operational leadership across the organization in order to continue the change management process.
T.J. has worked in several leadership roles within 3 other disability organizations over the last 20 years. He has led many change projects in this time from service improvement teams to opening community hubs and developing community supported living options. T.J. is looking forward to bringing Cheeverstown, the people it supports, their families and staff on the next development journey for this wonderful organization.
T.J. has qualifications in management, education and training and over 25 years’experience working in the disability sector, he is a qualified Horticulturist, which he believes keeps him grounded. He is an active member of the National Federation of Service Providers and he was nominated on to the National New Directions implementation group which influences national policy for people with disability.
In his spare time he is very involved in theatre and directs productions at a high level in amateur drama. He also coaches hurling, hockey and rugby and has a love for all team sports. T.J. is married to Lurlene and has a son called Ollie and daughter called Joy.
